Information the app may access
Move-In Proof may access or create the following information when you choose to use related features:
- Photos you take in the app or select from your photo library.
- Inspection notes you enter for rooms and checklist items.
- Optional property details you choose to add, such as address, unit, inspection date, landlord or property manager information.
- Inspection records and PDF reports generated on your device.
Data collection and storage
Move-In Proof is a local-first app. Inspection content is stored on your device. We do not collect your inspection records, upload them to developer-controlled servers, sell your information, or use your inspection content for advertising.
If you choose to share or export a PDF report or photos using your device sharing options, the selected destination app or service will handle that information according to its own privacy practices.

Camera
Used to capture inspection photos when you choose to take photos inside the app.
Photo library
Used to let you select existing photos for an inspection record.
File and sharing features
Used to create, save, export, or share PDF reports and related files at your request.
What we do not do
- We do not provide user accounts or cloud sync.
- We do not upload your inspection photos or notes to our servers.
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not use your inspection content for advertising tracking.
- We do not provide legal advice or guarantee legal validity of any report.
Deleting your data
You can delete inspection records or photos from within the app if the app provides that option. You can also delete app data by removing the app from your device. If you exported or shared files outside the app, you must manage or delete those copies in the destination where they were saved.
Children's privacy
Move-In Proof is intended for renters and household record keeping. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page.
